Q. Could you describe your work?
A. It's kind of careless. I put my heart 100% in it, but I don't push myself. It just comes to me. I've created some collections in half an hour. Something inspires me and... it's done in my mind. It happens. I don't force myself to create a collection or choose colors. I just do it.

Q. Do you do a lot of research?
A. I was always - since I was an kid - I collector. I loved the flea market. It's in the family. I was always curious about old books. I always read. I keep my eyes open all the time. Also living in different countries and cultures helps a lot. Studying Italian art history... I was always curious and wanting to compare stuff. I have so many glasses with which I can see things from different perspectives. I live like the whole world is mine.

Q. Is brown the new black?
A. Prints are the new black.

Q. Latte or espresso?
A. Espresso.
